Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Security Specialist
to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing network and cloud environments across a large-scale organisation for a
12-month contract

What You'll Do

As a Senior Security Specialist, you will:

  • Engineer, build, and support
    Firewalls, Application Delivery Controllers (F5), Security Service Edge (SSE)
    ,
    Secure Email Gateways
    , and
    cloud security
    environments across
    AWS
    and
    Azure
    .
  • Administer, monitor, and enhance network and security performance, ensuring compliance with
    SLAs
    and organisational standards.
  • Prepare and maintain
    security documentation
    , configuration guides, and performance reports.
  • Provide
    knowledge transfer
    and mentoring to departmental staff, fostering capability growth.
  • Collaborate across ICT teams and partner agencies to drive operational excellence.
  • Participate in an
    on-call roster
    and perform after-hours work when required.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a passionate, results-oriented professional with:

  • Proven experience in
    security administration across enterprise-scale networks
    .
  • Strong background in:

Palo Alto Firewalls

F5 ADC (LTM, ASM, APM)

Secure Email Gateway solutions

Cloud security (AWS, Azure)

Network security, encryption & Security Service Edge

  • Solid understanding of
    ITIL
    ,
    Security Risk & Compliance
    , and
    technical report writing
    .
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both
    autonomously and collaboratively
    in small, high-performing teams.
