About the Role

You'll work closely with experienced AI and IT leaders, learning hands-on across the full data science lifecycle. From wrangling raw data to building and evaluating models, you'll have the chance to contribute to meaningful analytics work that supports real business decisions.

What You'll Be Doing
Data Prep & Exploration

• Cleaning, transforming and joining complex datasets
• Running EDA to uncover trends, patterns and data-quality issues

Model Building Support

• Helping train and evaluate regression, classification and basic time-series models
• Comparing performance and documenting insights

Visualisation & Storytelling

• Creating charts, summaries and simple dashboards that explain results clearly
• Sharing insights with non-technical teams

Code & Delivery

• Writing clean, reproducible Python code
• Using Git for version control
• Contributing to documentation, handovers and knowledge transfer

Team Collaboration

• Participating in stand-ups, planning sessions and review conversations
• Learning through feedback and improving iteratively

What You'll Deliver

• Clean, well-structured datasets / notebooks
• EDA summaries with commentary
• Model training + evaluation artefacts
• Simple dashboards/visualisations
• Clear documentation + handover packs

What You Bring

• A qualification in Data Science, Stats, Maths, CS, Engineering or similar
• Strong Python fundamentals (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib/plotly)
• Hands-on data cleaning + EDA experience
• Basic knowledge of supervised learning
• Ability to explain insights clearly
• Clean coding habits + Git
• Curiosity, analytical thinking and a willingness to learn

• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate development

• Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to AWS or cloud analytics

• Experience with Tableau or BI tools
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts
• Time-series or forecasting experience
• Background in supply-chain-heavy industries
• Personal projects, Kaggle competitions, or online learning
