Sydney, New South Wales, Australia First Sentier Group Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Join a global transformation that's shaping the future of People & Culture.

First Sentier Group is embarking on a multi-year, enterprise-wide transformation of its People and Culture function. This strategic initiative aims to modernise systems, uplift capability, and deliver a scalable, future-ready HR operating model. We're seeking a dynamic and seasoned Senior Program Manager to lead this transformation across multiple workstreams, including technology enablement, operating model redesign, vendor rationalisation, and capability uplift.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Global Head of PMO and working closely with the Head of People Change you will be the driving force behind programme delivery—translating strategy into action, managing complexity, and ensuring momentum across a globally distributed firm.

The Senior Program Manager will drive multiple project streams including the global implementation of Workday across P&C, transforming the Target Operating Model and building operational excellence capability across the function. This will involve establishing governance structures and enterprise wide stakeholder engagement including the management of various working groups and Steer-Co's.

We are offering an
18 month Fixed Term Contract with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Establish the governance framework for the program, delivering executive-level governance while maintaining hands-on oversight of delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple sub-projects, ensuring strategic alignment and timely execution.
  • Manage programme milestones, budget, and resources across systems, processes, and people initiatives.

Workday Implementation

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Workday HCM, ensuring it becomes a strategic enabler of efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT to manage integrations and downstream impacts.

Global Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships across geographies and functions including P&C, Corporate Operations, PMO, IT, Finance, Risk, and vendor partners.
  • Facilitate alignment and collaboration across business units and leadership levels.
  • Co-design and implement change and communications plans.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Leverage workforce analytics to inform decisions, prioritise investments, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure program outcomes deliver measurable value and long-term sustainability.

Design Simplicity & Future-Proofing

  • Advocate for scalable, user-friendly design principles across systems and processes.

Embed future-ready capabilities, including AI and automation, in collaboration with IT and enterprise architecture teams.

About You

You are a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with a proven track record in delivering complex, global transformation programs within People & Culture. You bring deep expertise in program management and leading multiple streams simultaneously. HRIS (preferably Workday), stakeholder management, and change leadership expertise is required. You have proven experience balancing a commercial focus with client centricity and mobilising a multi-disciplinary team within a fast-paced firm.
