As an Academic Programs Officer in the Department of Radiology, you will manage and coordinate the administration of academic programs, supporting daily operations and events. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with course coordinators and faculty, ensuring seamless program delivery and enhancing educational outcomes. This role offers you the chance to work in a vibrant team, develop your organisational skills, and make a significant impact on the department's success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Program Management: Liaise with course coordinators to review curriculum needs and contribute to program development.
- Communication and Collaboration: Manage communication within the faculty and ensure all teaching staff are informed and prepared.
- Course Administration: Draft and prepare lecture timetables, secure teaching staff, and manage room bookings.
- Operational Excellence: Coordinate exam schedules, manage assessment logistics, and ensure accurate data entry.

You may also:
- Possess a relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrate initiative and responsiveness in task management and problem-solving.
- Exhibit the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Possess high-level computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and learning management systems.

Your new team – Department of Radiology
The Department of Radiology is a large and diverse department in the Melbourne Medical School that undertakes research, postgraduate and undergraduate teaching within the University of Melbourne teaching hospitals. The department provides teaching to the Radiology Registrar trainees in accredited Radiology training positions across Victoria. This course has been carefully designed to meet the educational requirements of both the University and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
