Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and purchase earth-moving machinery parts for resale, aligned with customer demand and business strategy
  • Monitor sales data and inventory levels to forecast purchasing needs and avoid over/understocking
  • Research market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to anticipate customer preferences
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with overseas and local suppliers to secure quality products at competitive rates
  • Coordinate with freight and logistics providers to manage timely deliveries
  • Develop and implement pricing, promotional, and stock display strategies in collaboration with the sales team
  • Liaise with management to support long-term planning, sales targets, and promotional events
  • Prepare purchase plans in accordance with resale needs and budget constraints

Skills and Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a procurement or retail buying role, preferably in industrial or machinery-related sectors
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
  • Sound understanding of inventory planning and market analysis
  • High attention to detail and data literacy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using procurement or inventory management systems
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)

Qualifications:

  • At least diploma or above in supply chain, business, commerce, or a related field
  • Experience with international sourcing or working with overseas suppliers
