**About the role**:
As Baby Bunting continues our journey to be customer first, we are seeking a Planning Assistant to work closely with our planners and buyers to ensure we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time

Your experience in a high SKU count category will support your success in this very fast paced role.

Your passion, agility and strong stock management experience will be prominent, as will your strong supplier and stakeholder relationship building abilities.

**Please note - this is a 12-month parental leave contract**

**Key deliverables**:
**Stock Management**
- Place & check replenishment order proposals and approve orders within the agreed timeline
- Manage stock allocations to achieve highest level of stockturn
- Ensure store baseline and promotional forecast accuracy
- Liaise with suppliers on stock and product availability and resolve any supply issues

**Analysis and Reporting**
- Review replenishment against sales performance and maintain stock levels accordingly
- Evaluate supplier performance in relation to supply and delivery in full - DIFOT

**Foster working relationships with Suppliers**
- Maintain accuracy of supplier stock forecasts
- Evaluate supplier performance in relation to supply and delivery

**Store support**
- Analyse store performance and monitor store inventory levels to ensure all financials measures are achieved

**What you'll bring to the role**:

- Exceptional attention to detail
- An ability to think creatively to identify and resolve problems
- Strong computer literacy and Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
- Flexibility in your approach and an ability to meeting deadlines
- An achievement orientation and drive for results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
