FinXL is partnering with a telecommunications client in North Sydney to find an experienced Records Officer for a 6-month assignment.

About the Assignment

The Records Officer will be a key part of the Records and Information Services team, focusing on enhancing governance through control assurance, ensuring compliance with retention and disposal requirements, and supporting the operationalisation of key technologies. This assignment offers a blend of operational tasks and project-based work, with a specific focus on the implementation and configuration of CastlePoint for SharePoint Online.

Key Deliverables

  • Conduct thorough reviews of records against approved retention schedules to ensure legislative and policy compliance.
  • Assist in the design, documentation, and testing of control assurance mechanisms for records management.
  • Support the configuration and execution of automated archiving and destruction activities using CastlePoint for SharePoint Online.
  • Engage with Business Unit Risk and Compliance Managers to align records practices with broader governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to communications, training, and awareness activities for stakeholders regarding records initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience and a strong understanding of records management principles, including retention and disposal.
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks, with a focus on control assurance.
  • Experience with CastlePoint or similar records management platforms is highly regarded.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • An analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
