East Coast Carts is the leading golf and utility cart business, located on the beautiful South Coast of NSW in Batemans Bay.

We provide high quality, value for money cart sales, servicing and repairs to Golf Clubs, Leisure Resorts, Residential Living Facilities, Corporate Clients and Individuals in the surrounding area and parts of the Southern Highlands.

We are actively seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Auto Electrician/Small Engine Mechanic to join our busy team to carry out high quality servicing, diagnosis and repair work on a range of electric and petrol carts, in both the field and our workshop with a real focus on customer satisfaction.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • performing quality mechanical and electrical servicing, maintenance and repairs,
  • ensuring all job records are completed and accurate,
  • diagnosing faults and carrying out servicing,
  • ensuring workshop and mobile repair van is stocked, organised, clean and tidy,
  • providing accurate quotations to customers when required; and
  • ensuring commitment and compliance to WHS and other company policies.

The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:

  • a trade qualification in Auto Electrics, Auto /Small Engine Mechanics, or equivalent experience,
  • a current driver's license,
  • knowledge and experience in service and maintenance of small engines,
  • great diagnostic skills and analytical capabilities,
  • proven ability to work productively and professionally in a small team environment,
  • initiative and self-motivation,
  • clear communicator and excellent customer service skills; and
  • ability to travel with overnight stay(s) when required.
