**Service Overview**:
Clarity Health Care is an accredited mental health service providing multidisciplinary, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges across Australia. Our Hobart clinic is part of this network, delivering a range of treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) a non invasive, evidence-supported intervention for depression and related conditions.

Our team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and TMS technicians work collaboratively to provide integrated care, guided by the recovery model and a bio-psycho-social approach.
**The Role**
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and autonomous TMS Technician to join our Hobart clinic. In this role, you will play a critical part in administering TMS treatments independently and confidently, strictly adhering to protocols and safety standards while working collaboratively with the wider clinical team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer TMS treatments independently, following approved protocols, Australian safety standards, and Clarity Health Care’s model of care.
- Balance independent practice and collaboration, contributing effectively within a shared-care, multidisciplinary environment.
- Undertake induction, onboarding, and ongoing training, with openness to learn and adapt to new practices.
- Strictly adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Deliver additional treatments within scope of practice as new therapies are introduced (e.g., Esketamine), following appropriate training.
- Provide clear education and reassurance to clients about the TMS process, ensuring informed consent and comfort.
- Monitor clients during sessions, promptly escalating concerns or adverse events in line with protocols.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
- Liaise with psychiatrists, mental health clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure seamless care planning.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance, escalating technical issues when required.
- Assist with scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups to support continuity of care.
- Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, and team-based case discussions.
- Uphold infection control protocols and Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards consistent with Safe Work Australia guidelines.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives to raise awareness of TMS services.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement, including feedback collection, service evaluation, and refinement of TMS protocols.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in healthcare, mental health, neurotechnology, or related fields (nursing qualifications highly desirable).
- TMS Technician certification, or willingness to complete training (training provided).
- Previous experience in mental health or allied health settings within Australia is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of recovery principles, trauma-informed care, and culturally safe practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support clients in sensitive contexts.
- Proficiency in clinical information systems and office software.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- Knowledge of the Privacy Act 1988, Australian Privacy Principles, and mandatory reporting obligations in Tasmania.
- Proven ability to work autonomously within protocols, while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
