Our client, a leading multi-national manufacturer and distributer of HVAC products to the building industry, is now seeking a talented Trade Counter Salesperson to join their established Dandenong team. Their staff are a vital part of their business, providing friendly expert service to their clients.

Having the right attitude and being prepared to undertake on the job training is a must. This role is an ongoing full-time temporary appointment with the view to permanency.

The Position

  • Trade counter appointment is based in our client's warehouse

  • Dealing with trade customers on a daily basis including over the counter sales, phone and email follow-ups

  • Liaising with warehouse staff and key personnel

  • Preparation of quotes

  • Managing a database and following up on orders

  • Co-ordination of deliveries and dispatch

  • Available Monday to Friday - 8.30am 4:30pm (start and finish times are fixed - no flexibility)

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will possess the below skills:

  • Computer literacy skills

  • Can do attitude where you are willing to learn everyday

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills

  • A background working in a retail 'trade' shop would be advantageous

  • Full drivers licence

  • Safety conscious and aware of OHS procedures

  • Available to start in a temporary capacity with a view to permanent

  • Be flexible to assist in the warehouse or office if back-up is ever required
