Quest South Perth Foreshore and Quest Perth Ascot are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our team on a Full Time basis for the right candidate. As the maintenance person, you will be undertaking a variety of proactive and reactive general maintenance repair works around the Hotels.

Main duties will include but are not limited to;

  • Take responsibility for guest requests for repairs to guestrooms
  • Carry out general maintenance and routing preventive maintenance checks of hotel guest rooms, and operational and hotel systems in all areas including kitchen equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance to the building structure including minor patching, painting and installation work as and when required.
  • Attending to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment including but not limited to sanitary fixtures, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, hot and cold-water systems, cooling water systems, storm and sanitary sewer systems, and spa and swimming pool systems.
  • Ensure fire and engineering safety features operate at peak efficiency.

About You

  • Be customer-focused and able to deal with changing priorities.
  • Trade experience and/or qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems.
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Self-motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable.
  • Neat personal presentation and grooming.
  • Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written.
  • Basic plumbing / carpentry, painting experience is an advantage.
