Description:

About the Role:

Eastern Guruma is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Service Person to join our Operator team. In this role, you'll work closely with our HD Fitter crew to ensure the smooth running of our fleet and support the ongoing maintenance of heavy plant and equipment.

As a Service Person, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Refueling and lubricating heavy machinery such as dump trucks, excavators, and dozers.
  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
  • Replacing fluids, filters, and consumables as required.
  • Assisting mechanics and fitters with repairs.
  • Carrying out general site maintenance, including road grading and dust suppression.
  • Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with workplace safety and environmental regulations.

Skills and Experiences:

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous service person experience in a mining, construction, or mechanical role.
  • Sound knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance.
  • HR Licence (minimum requirement).
  • Physically fit and capable of performing labour-intensive duties.
  • Strong commitment to safety and working as part of a team.

On Offer:

Full time permanent opportunity

Fifo 2:1 roster, day shift only.

12-hours paid per day.

All pre-employment checks, PPE and flights provided by Eastern Guruma.

On call support provided for completion of any required inductions/ onboarding forms.
