About the role

Your days will offer variety; however, you can count on building a strong sales pipeline that you will manage from identifying potential clients through to completing quotes and project management meetings for new and existing clients. This is a role that will blend warm leads with the freedom to get strategic about how you build your client portfolio.

How will you do this?

  • Identify new client opportunities through referrals and networking or industry events and action leads from management and interstate colleagues

  • Conduct new business development and follow up calls and activities with prospective clients

  • Service existing clients with regular contact

  • Attend client sites for sales meetings, quoting and project management meeting

  • Gathering requirements, creating proposals and tender responses and presenting them to clients

  • Directing and controlling the operational efficiency of projects to exceed sales, profit and service objectives.

  • Attend site on move day to ensure a smooth and seamless relocation

  • Ensure compliance in all activities and keep OHS requirements front of mind in all interactions

About you

  • Proficient computer and Microsoft office skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively with the team while keeping your work and 'to do' list organised

  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset

  • Professional presentation and communication skills (written, verbal and face to face)

  • Be a resourceful individual, who is able to solve problems using your own initiative.

  • Excellent negation and influencing skills and be commercially astute.

  • Ability to recognise confidential information and keep that information private and secure

  • An understanding of project management including budget and costs (advantageous)
