Light Vehicle Technician

Sci-Fleet Toyota, Australia's largest Toyota Dealer, currently has an opportunity for a qualified Light Vehicle Technician to join our Kedron Service Centre.

Working closely with the Service Manager, workshop controller and our service centre team, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out all levels of manufacture scheduled servicing

• Completing all aspects of mechanical repairs and diagnosis; including engine, timing chain, gearbox, clutches, suspension, brakes, tyres, recalls and software updates

• Providing advice in relation to the mechanical condition of vehicles

• Providing guidance to apprentice technicians

As our ideal candidate, you will possess the following skills and attributes.

• Extensive knowledge of vehicles and the ability to work proactively in an autonomous environment

• Attention to detail with a good work ethic

• Hold a current and valid manual driver's license (Queensland)

• Hold a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle)

• Toyota experience advantageous, but not necessary

• Excellent personal presentation

• Intermediate computer skills
