Reservations and Events Coordinator

Got charm, hustle & hospitality skills? Help guests plan unforgettable events & keep our calendar packed with celebrations worth talking about
We're The Speakeasy Group – a small but mighty hospitality crew behind eight beautiful venues in Melbourne and Sydney. Think award-winning cocktail bars, immersive dining adventures, and the kinds of places where people come to celebrate, connect, and just have a damn good time.
We're on the lookout for a Reservations & Events Coordinator – but not just any coordinator. We're looking for someone who loves sales, gets a kick out of creating special moments, and wants to play a key role in bringing events to life across our venues.
If you've ever been told you're "really good with people" and also happen to enjoy converting leads, managing details like a boss, and working closely with passionate teams – you'll probably love it here.
What You'll Be Doing (with Style)- Sales alchemy: Turn cold leads into hot bookings. Corporate lunches, cocktail parties, elegant weddings – you'll love them all
- Event orchestration: Once the sale's done, you'll shepherd every detail – cascading champagne towers, cocktails and canapés, four course dinners, laughs.
- Guest enquiry mastery: Keep our reservation and events system sharp. Make sure no one is left hanging. Emails answered. Phones picked up.
- Innovate & elevate: You'll help shape new experiences, improve the way we sell and deliver events, and contribute real ideas (yes, we'll actually listen).
Who You Are (yes, you)
- You're fearless on the phone, charming by email, persuasive via video.
- "Sales" is a word that excites you, not one that you avoid. Cold calls? That's just part of the fun. You love the thrill of the chase
- Organised doesn't begin to cover you. Ever changing 'to do' lists, run sheets, event timings, menu changes – you juggle them.
- Tools like SevenRooms, Tripleseat & Google Suite are your friends.
- Best for the guest: We create unforgettable experiences by always putting the guest experience first
- Fu*k Yeah: If it's not a FU*K YEAH, it's a no. Passion and excellence drive every decision we make.
- Do the right thing: Integrity first. We do what's right, even when it's not easy.
- Evolve & Excel: Growth is in our DNA - personally, professionally, and as a company.
We're a team that genuinely cares – about the work, the guests, and each other. If you've been looking for the right crew to join, and not just a job, you might've just found it.
Let's make some unforgettable events together.
