Support Worker

We are a home & community care provider, and we are looking for qualified and experienced Support Workers in Broome or with a willingness to move to Broome to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. Staff will receive ongoing support to achieve their goals. Our client base is constantly growing so the possibility for development and more hours/shifts is high.
Who We're Looking For
- Individuals with a strong empathy and resilience, adept at thriving in demanding and dynamic environments.
- Must have a valid driver's license, and be willing to transport clients.
- Qualifications in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Care are highly regarded.
- Excellent communicators with a compassionate nature and the ability to think on their feet.
Ready to obtain a
First Aid Certificate,
- CPR Certificate,
- Working with Children's Check,
- a current Police Check
- and NDIS Worker Check.
- Have a completed Certificate III or IV in either Individual Support or Aged Care (or anything related and at the same level) or a willingness to complete within 2 years of work
- Be willing to complete company induction and relevant training for the sector
- Ability to perform physical tasks including manual handling, lifting, and assisting with mobility
Requirements will differ between clients, and can include:
* Medication administration
*Personal care
* General cleaning
* Domestic assistance
* Companionship
* Social support
* Meal preparation
* Transport
