WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator, you'll provide instrumental support to the project management team, ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery. You will work on major industrial buildings projects, such as automated warehouses and distribution centres, for big-name clients.

You'll work closely with more senior members of the team as you build up your expertise and make sure projects are delivered with top closely with best practice.

You'll be:

  • Assisting with the coordination and delivery of projects to meet agreed timeframes;
  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and controls managing by the contract requirements
  • Helping to revise project documents, drawings, specifications, and project correspondence
  • Supporting in the preparation of client proposals, presentations, and due diligence reports, alongside other relevant project documentation management
  • Coordinating with contractors, clients, and other relevant personnel
  • Working across the full lifecycle of projects from inception to handover.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for a great communicator who is motivated, confident, analytical, and detail-oriented.

This role would suit a project coordinator, assistant project manager or individuals from a construction management or civil engineering background looking to make the transition into project management. You may be coming from engineering, design, consulting, construction, or architectural services background – if you're passionate about driving solutions on construction projects, this could be your next career move.

  • Degree qualifications in a relevant field
  • Team player, proactive, willing to listen, learn and grow with the business
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • You have the desire to be client facing and liaise with stakeholders on a daily basis

It would be an advantage to bring:

  • Experience working on large-scale building or infrastructure projects (design and construct) for stormwater, sewer, water
  • Experience working for a client-side firm or a main Tier 1 contractor/consultancy/
  • Previous experience working in multidisciplinary project teams of engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
