Young Golf Club is a beautiful golf course located in prime position in the Hilltops region of NSW. We are less than 2 hours from Canberra and under 4 hours drive to central Sydney. Young is a busy town with a bustling cafe culture and some great pubs.

We are a small team led by PGA Head Professional, Pat Hatton, who moved from Brisbane over a year ago. He is passionate about the game and bringing exciting things to golf in Young - we have a Pro-Am next month, a junior program and regular fitting days with the latest gear on offer.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who is eager to develop a career in the golf industry. We require some understanding of golf, so prefer candidates who already play themselves. On the job training will also be provided, so you will need to be ready to learn as well. Essential Qualities:

  • Self-motivated & willing to work as part of a team
  • Be able to work weekdays and weekends - we usually work to a set roster but can organise for weekends off as well
  • Outstanding people & service skills
  • Computer & communication skills
  • Excellent presentation

Duties:

  • The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following:-
  • High level of customer service & sales assistance
  • General Golf Services duties - eg. competition admin and organising prizes

Position Remuneration / Entitlements:

The remuneration package will be guided by conditions for PGA Associates under the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award as well as monthly commissions on offer. We also provide employee discounts on golf gear.
