Melbourne's fastest growing Honda and Indian Motorcycle Dealership in the heart of Fitzroy North's rich and diverse cafe culture, chic bars and creative boutiques, just a short tram ride from Melbourne CBD, have a unique opportunity for a Full-time Motorcycle mechanic to join their bustling Service Department. Fitzroy Motorcycles is a longstanding, small family owned and operated retail business for brands such as Honda, Indian, Lambretta and Italjet and servicing all makes and models. Being family owned, all staff are like family, creating a relaxed, personal working environment.

This role is Full time.

Experience Required: min 2 years in relevant role.

Required Licence or Certification: Qualification in motorcycle mechanics, Driver's license, Motorcycle licence (Preferred).

Visa Sponsorship: Nomination for temporary work visa and/or Permanent Residency will be considered for eligible candidates.

Duties:

Some of the duties you will be required to perform include;


• Listen to engines, examine vehicle frames to determine nature of malfunction or damage


• Replace defective parts


• Repair or adjust vehicle subassemblies and other parts


• Dismantle engines and repair or replace defective parts


• Connect test panels to engines and measure generator output, ignition timing or other engine performance indicators
