THE ROLE

Sonic HealthPlus is currently recruiting Doctors to join our busy Canberra practice. As a Doctor you will conduct pre-employment occupational suitability examinations for Australian Defence Force (ADF) candidates. You will join a team of highly professional Doctors who collaborate to deliver high quality, comprehensive healthcare assessments for Defence Force Recruitment.

You will participate in a generous and supportive training program that ensures you are ready to complete five appointments per day. Your appointments will be booked by our dedicated bookings team and our Nurses and Screeners will conduct preliminary screening of all your bookings to make sure your day runs smoothly.

Our Canberra Practice is run by a close-knit team of 15 employees and is large and spacious with well-sized and well-equipped consult and screener rooms

Design how and when you work - with options for full time, part time, 4-day weeks, 9-day fortnights, or flexible start and end times, plus the ability to work from a beautifully equipped clinic. Tell us how you work best.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Australian Citizenship

  • Bachelor of Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)

  • Current AHPRA registration (General Registration minimum)

  • You will need to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance as per ADF guidelines. Sonic HealthPlus will initiate and support you in the completion of this clearance.

  • Post Graduate experience.
