Kindikids is looking for Early Childhood Teachers

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and are passionate about promoting a safe, respectful and positive environment.

About the role:

Locations: Edensor Park, NSW

Role Type: Full Time

This is a full-time position for our nursery/toddler/preschool rooms to work with an experienced team in a supportive and nurturing environment.

  • An active team member of the service and providing high-quality Early Childhood Education and Care to children
  • Prepared for the day's activities well in advance
  • Support the educational leaders to ensure sound implementation of the educational program across the services
  • Ensure the services exceed the expectations and needs of the staff, children, parents, their families and the local community as it relates to education
  • Support exceeding operation of the service against NQF standards, as it relates to education
  • Lead and foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, respect and empowerment with all staff
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the education framework.

What we are looking for:

  • The ideal applicant will hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or will have completed at least 50% of their studies, as recognised by ACECQA
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional childcare environment
  • Accredited proficient teacher as per the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Sound knowledge of Children's Services Regulations and other legislative requirements
  • Working with Children Check clearance.
