The Role:
We are looking for an inspiring ECT who has sound knowledge of contemporary pedagogy.
KU Bligh Park Preschool are seeking a passionate and creative Early Childhood Teacher for a parental leave position. This opportunity will see you join the team 5 days per fortnight. Every Wednesday and Thursday 7.6 hours per day and every second Tuesday to June 2026.
We're looking for someone who delights in storytelling in all its forms—whether through books, music, movement, puppetry, or imaginative play—and who can inspire children to explore language and ideas through rich, meaningful experiences. As part of our team, you'll create engaging learning environments, build warm and respectful relationships with children and families, and contribute to a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and high-quality early education.

Of course, you will need:
- Australian working rights
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
