Finance & Admin Manager - Expat Role

Established gold mining operation is seeking applications for an expatriate Finance & Admin Manager role, located on a safe and scenic island in the Asia-Pac.

Reporting to the GM Operations, you will be responsible for managing a national and expat team across Finance, IT, and Travel, ensuring alignment to operational strategy, providing quality decision support, analysis and governance.

The mining operation is established but undergoing various early works projects in preparation for a major expansion project, which will transform the operations into a world class mine, significantly increasing production and extending the LOM.

To be successful, the role requires:

·       Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or a related discipline

·       Previous experience managing finance on a mining operation

·       Strong leadership skills

·       Someone who is happy to adopt a hands-on approach and get back to basics when required to help support and mentor the national team

·       Previous developing country experience is highly regarded

·       Experience with cashflow management and cost control during construction would be desirable

·       High levels of energy and enthusiasm to drive change and make bold decisions in challenging conditions

Working as part of a small but well-regarded leadership team, the role will operate a 3 week on, 2 week off FIFO roster from point of hire, offering a competitive salary package.
