Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an Entry-Level IT Project Coordinator to join their expanding IT team based in Melbournes' Western Suburbs. This hybrid position requires attendance in the office three days per week and begins as a 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension for the right candidate.In this role, you'll assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of a range of technology projects across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and eager to develop their skills in IT project management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Please note, to apply applicants must have the following:The requisite skills and experience defined below,At least Australian Permanent Residence working rightsKey responsibilities include, but not limited to:Assist in coordinating project activities, resources, equipment, and informationSupport project managers in monitoring project progress and handling routine administrative tasksHelp prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reportsSchedule and organise meetings, track action items, and take meeting notesCommunicate with internal teams to ensure project requirements and deadlines are metMaintain project tracking tools such as task lists, Gantt charts, or dashboardsHelp identify and resolve simple project issues or escalate as neededSupport in ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriatelyThe successful candidate will have:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or in final year of study)Strong interest in IT systems, software development, and/or project managementExcellent organisational and time-management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Basic knowledge of project management tools is a plusAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamNotes:Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Your daily rate will depend on skills and experience.Start date is ASAP.On-site working requirement with the possibility of some flexible working arrangements.If you feel this role is for you, then please press "Apply" now -->
