What You'll Do:
As a Production Systems Engineer, you'll take ownership of the production environment, focusing on performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will span troubleshooting large-scale trading systems, monitoring exchange connectivity, and deploying changes with minimal operational risk. You'll collaborate closely with traders, operations, and developers to enhance and troubleshoot the production trading system while leveraging firm-wide metrics to improve scalability.

Exceptional salary on offer - $500k-$750k based on experience
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively monitoring and troubleshooting real-time trading systems
  • Managing configuration, deployment, and monitoring for the trading system
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex system issues
  • Working with Risk Management and Operational Trading Support to coordinate changes and manage incidents
  • Mentoring and training other technical operations engineers
  • Managing operational risk during changes in the production environment

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT ops role such as DevOps, SRE, or Linux Systems Engineering
  • Expertise in Python and shell scripting
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and networking concepts
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot large-scale production systems
  • A deep sense of ownership, reliability, and urgency
