We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Project Officer – Digital Services within our Teaching and Learning Support directorate.

• Location: Parramatta, with some access to various NSW Education offices and flexible working arrangements available

• Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10 with base salary ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

• Temporary full-time opportunity up to 28 January 2029, with possibility for extension or conversion to ongoing

The Teaching and Learning Support (TLS) directorate enables schools, teachers and the system to support all learners to effectively and equitably access and engage with the curriculum to reach their potential. TLS develops and delivers evidence-based professional learning, resources and advice to schools to enable the provision of an outstanding education for every learner.

About the role
The Senior Project Officer - Digital Services provides end to end project management and product development activities for online assessment and associated tools and resources. The role works with product owners, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical and support teams to manage the requirement definition, quality and progress of online products through the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of improvements within agreed scope.

Key knowledge and experience:

• Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor project plans, including detailed resource scheduling, milestones and task dependencies.

• Demonstrated ability to analyse and translate user requirements into online systems.

• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements:

• Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one) 

• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
