We are embarking on an ambitious five-year strategy focused on growth, innovation, and deepening our impact for Australians affected by breast cancer. With a strong foundation, national brand recognition, and a highly engaged community, we're now looking to the future—building a sustainable income model, refining supporter engagement, and exploring new ways to connect people to our cause.

We're seeking a visionary Head of Income and Innovation to lead this transformation. As part of the senior leadership team, you'll shape and deliver an integrated, insight-driven income portfolio that fuels our mission and future growth. This role brings together individual giving, community fundraising, and events into a connected, scalable function focused on performance, sustainability, and supporter experience.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Co-develop and deliver a unified income and innovation strategy aligned to our five-year plan.
• Integrate individual giving, mass fundraising, and events into a cohesive, scalable portfolio.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable annual plans with clear metrics and accountability.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, testing, and learning.

Income Growth & Innovation

• Strengthen and evolve existing income streams through data-led refinement and stewardship.
• Identify and develop new fundraising products and income opportunities.
• Lead business case development and pilot testing for new initiatives.
• Ensure income growth is sustainable, diversified, and aligned with supporter needs.

Data & Performance

• Use data, insights, and supporter feedback to optimise campaigns and drive performance.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to meet income targets and improve ROI.
• Maintain visibility and control of income performance, proactively managing risks.

Supporter Experience & Engagement

• Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to build personalised, impactful supporter journeys.
• Champion stewardship that deepens connection and increases lifetime value.

Leadership & Team Culture

• Contribute to senior leadership decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team with a strong sense of purpose and impact.
• Foster a courageous, collaborative culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
• Represent income and innovation in strategic projects across the organisation.

Reporting to the Director, Brand, Engagement and Income, you'll be supported by a passionate team, a committed Executive, and an organisation ready for what's next.

This is a role for a strategic thinker and practical doer—someone who leads through change, makes data-informed decisions, and inspires their team to push boundaries, improve what's strong, and build what's next.
