We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a leading IT consulting client in Sydney. Our client is a dynamic and growing consulting firm with a focus on delivering innovative digital solutions to leading banks, ASX -listed companies, and government agencies. Thisis a dual role that combines client delivery and internal practice developmentresponsibilities. Some of the key responsibilities are to:Liaise with business stakeholders in analysing and documenting Business Processes, both current and preferredCreating an AS -IS/TO -BE business process mapping (BPM) using BMPN 2.0 notationAnalyse complex problems and processes to accurately understand clients' business needs for new business solutions and enhancementsAssist with Business Case development to justify allocation of resources for the implementation of an applicationConsulting with business, technology, and project stakeholders regarding business analysis and project success factorsAssist informal evaluation of software systems that may be implementedDemonstrating core business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process design, data analysis, and implementation support.Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders to outline, design and implement new conversations, intents, and knowledge bases.Carrying out system testing and identifying critical defects.Managing communication, change and adoption across all relevant stakeholdersActively contribute and be part of an Agile environment and participate in daily SCRUM or Stand -ups, Sprint planning, and Retrospective ceremonies. This is a leadership role which would involve supporting with practicedevelopment, including training and development of junior teams, providingleadership and oversight, and supporting business activities. RequirementsAt least 7 years of proven experience in the successful management and delivery of technology or ICT related projects,Knowledge and experience in Business Analysis and Project Management methodologies.Proven capability and experience in working with organisations to assist the development of business concepts through to final deliveryProven experience working within small to large projects with a good understanding of project management methodologiesStrong interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication, and strong stakeholder engagement skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly build trust and effectively manage expectations.Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of independence and professionalism, including prioritising and undertaking a varied workload and responding positively and flexibly to change.Must be based in Australia already and have full working rights.Visa sponsorship is available for the eligible candidate.
