About the appointment

We are looking for a dynamic person with confidence, compassion and a can-do attitude that is collaborative. This is a fixed term position with a possibility of permanency. This role is based in the Great Southern region and involves a significant amount of in-person interaction. A small amount of travel is expected to Perth for training and meetings.

About the role

This is a leadership and mentoring role, with significant responsibility. The purpose of this role is to provide guidance and support to create a work environment that enables a team to deliver high quality and sustainable support services in an NDIS funding model. In collaboration with the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering innovative and contemporary models of support that demonstrate positive impact, utilizing co-design principles and collaborative approaches
  • Developing and implement person-centred plans that are evaluated and reflect positive outcomes for participants
  • Supporting the recruitment of person-centred team members that match the needs and interests of participants.
  • Growing our participant client based through onboarding our referrals.

The Service Lead role is Full Time 76hrs per fortnight and supervised by the Operational Lead in the Great Southern.

About you

You will provide guidance and support to our team members to ensure we deliver high quality services that align with service standards and best practice models.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent understanding of person-centred, strength-based support
  • Established skills in internal and external relationship building and stakeholder engagement
  • Understanding of NDIS individualised funding models and the key developments and issues facing the not-for-profit sector
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of contemporary theory, practice and its application in the area of disability and/or mental health
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant commensurate experience

You must be able to obtain a current NDIS workers screen and certificates in a First Aid certificate, Medication delivery, Manual Handling.
