About the role:

Hudson Trade centre Mitre 10 Leumeah are currently seeking an outgoing and knowledgeable individual to join their Trade yard team. The is a generalist position with a wide range of tasks including but not limited to; working in the trade yard, pick pack orders, truck loading & unloading and stock replenishment.

The successful candidate will be offered a full time position working a Monday to Friday roster, providing excellent customer service, must be motivated, and be relied upon to work in an team and an unsupervised environment.

What you will be doing:

Physical work with some heavy lifting requiredLoading & unloading of trucksStock control ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policyEnsuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their departmentProvide accurate deliveries on time, with a high focus on customer serviceServing customers in the trade yard- helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient servicePicking orders to be sent out on delivery trucksPutting away stock, mainly timber and associated productsMust be able to work in a fast paced environment, both within a team and individuallyA focus on exceptional customer service and safety

What you will bring:

Current Forklift licence definitely an advantageDemonstrate a strong customer focusTimber & hardware product knowledge advantageousDemonstrate ability to work in a team environment and unsupervisedWork in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrioritise workload to effectively meet deadlinesMust be physically fit and able to be on your feet all dayAn eye for detail and a sense of urgencyAbility to be available for work across the 5 days of the week
