Trades Assistant

Location: Port Kembla

Job Details: Onsite – Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 6am and 3pm

You'll play a key role in preparing vehicles for delivery, working with a diverse team across workshop, yard, and wharf operations. This is a great opportunity to build your automotive experience while contributing to a business that's transforming the industry and delivering great customer outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Install accessories to various OEM vehicles (e.g. AV kits, reverse cameras, and other accessories)
  • Carry out pre-delivery preparation including washing, fuelling, and tagging
  • Move and process vehicles before dealership handover
  • Fit FOTON trucks and apply Data Dots (Subaru)
  • Work across workshop, yard, and wharf environments

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be:

  • Mechanically minded with basic car knowledge
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow processes precisely
  • A strong communicator who works well in a team
  • Able to drive manual vehicles (Full Australian Driver's Licence required)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment
