With research and development labs in Australia, manufacturing facilities in Australia & China, Sales representation across Australia and New Zealand, Evolt is looking to fill this role to meet the demands of its growing customer network.
Evolt is seeking an energetic and tech savvy Business Development Manager (Projects) to join our growing business. Reporting to the VIC State Manager, you will be responsible for successfully growing the VIC Projects business and managing existing projects that are sold through the Wholesale channel.
Territory:
- Melbourne metro / Regional VIC.
- Ideally the Candidate will be Melbourne based and must be prepared to travel to customers located in Regional VIC where required to secure project opportunities.
Duties will include:
- Building relationships with Electrical Contractors and Facility Managers.
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with Electrical Wholesalers (particularly with Project Branches).
- Travel within Melbourne and regional locations within VIC top support existing and new project activities.
- Working to monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs (including CRM KPIs).
Skill and Experience:
- Strong sales experience with a proven record for acquiring new project business.
- Professional, tenacious, and ambitious with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships (ideally having existing Contractor & Wholesaler relationships.
- Ability to understand and influence customer expectations and deliver them.
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively in a changing environment.
- Preferred not essential, experience within the construction industry.
Remuneration includes:
- Competitive Base Salary.
- Ability to earn Commissions (uncapped).
- Superannuation.
- Company Vehicle & Tools of Trade i.e., Laptop and mobile device.
