Role Overview
As an Automation & Systems Engineer, you will: - Build secure, reliable automation across Microsoft 365, AI systems, and cloud infrastructure. - Work across Power Automate, Graph API, Flowise, system flows, and data pipelines. - Troubleshoot and optimize Windows, Linux, VMs, containers, and network environments. - Ensure security, data protection, and compliance standards are embedded in all solutions. - Support document ingestion, metadata extraction, hashing, and structured automation logic. - Assist in developing private AI workflows, vector‑based search systems, and automated document flows.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to work across
automation, security, cloud, AI, and systems engineering
all at once.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Engineering
- Design, build, and maintain secure automation across Power Automate, n8n, and custom APIs.
- Build structured workflows for file processing, metadata handling, hashing, and validation.
- Automate SharePoint/OneDrive/Graph API operations including foldering, permissions, and file lifecycle.
- Support and enhance Flowise pipelines with structured inputs/outputs.
Systems & Cloud Engineering
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, VMs, and containerized environments.
- Work with Azure resources, networking, Entra ID, conditional access, MFA, and secure identity flows.
- Maintain secure backup/recovery operations and ensure operational continuity.
Security & Compliance
- Embed SOC 2 / ISO27001 / NIST‑aligned best practices.
- Manage secure access control, encryption, token handling, and permission models.
- Ensure end‑to‑end secure data flow across automation layers.
AI & Data Pipelines
- Work with JSON structures, CSV generation, and automated data transformation.
- Support document ingestion including OCR, metadata extraction, chunking, and hashing.
- Participate in building private RAG workflows and structured data pipelines.
Experience & Skills
Required
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365: SharePoint, Graph API, Entra ID, conditional access.
- Strong scripting skills in
PowerShell
,
Python
, and/or
JavaScript
. - Experience with Windows, Linux, virtual machines, and container environments.
- Understanding of cloud security, encryption, identity, and automation best practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex system workflows end‑to‑end.
Highly Valuable
- Experience with automation stacks (Power Automate, n8n, Flowise, ).
- Experience with secure document workflows and metadata‑driven automation.
- Familiarity with AI pipelines (LLMs, embeddings, chunking, OCR).
- JSON schema handling, CSV generation, and structured data transformation.
- Experience with Docker and containerized execution.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with or other no‑code tools.
- Experience with LangChain, Flowise custom nodes, or similar AI tech.
- Knowledge of Weaviate, Pinecone, or other vector databases.
- Experience handling large‑scale file ingestion (10TB+).
