About the role

As our Business Process and Automation Senior Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of driving process transparency, optimisation, and automation across Essential Energy. You'll strategically manage process mining and automation capabilities, ensuring our platforms are fit-for-purpose, well-governed, and empower the business to model, analyse, and improve processes. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, lead technical implementations, and champion new technologies to deliver continuous improvement.

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity and can based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the technical implementation, configuration, and maintenance of process management, mining, and automation tools.
  • Design and build attended and unattended bots using platforms such as ARIS and Power Automate, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with business units, contractors, and vendors to define use cases, data sources, and success measures for process mining and automation.
  • Establish governance, standards, and support processes for ongoing delivery of process mining and automation services.
  • Represent Essential Energy at user groups and vendor forums, sharing and learning from industry experience to drive best practices.
  • Extensive experience in process management, RPA platforms, and ARIS administration.
  • Strong technical skills in process mining, automation platforms, SQL, scripting, APIs, and system integration.
  • Advanced understanding of BPMN 2.0, process governance, and automation lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
