Woods & Co Recruitment is partnering with a well-established property development and construction group with over 25 years of experience and a track record of delivering thousands of homes across Victoria. Combining design, sustainability, and affordability, this group continues to expand rapidly with a pipeline of more than 1,000 new builds over the next 36 months
They are seeking a skilled Estimator to join their growing construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and driven professional to contribute to a high-performing team, supporting projects through the entire lifecycle, from take-offs to cost management and supplier liaison

What you will do
- Prepare accurate bills of quantities, production estimates and cost breakdowns
- Generate and manage purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
- Review take-offs and ensure accuracy of material and labour requirements
- Collaborate with construction and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor project costs and maintain margin targets
- Support projects through their full lifecycle, including variation management and cost tracking
- Provide margin and cost reports to directors and stakeholders
What you need
- Minimum three years' experience in a residential estimating role, medium-density experience is highly regarded.
- Qualifications in Building, Construction, or a relevant trade background are desirable.
- Strong understanding of the construction process, terminology, OHS requirements, and residential codes.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
