About the Opportunity

Join our dynamic team at Metcash as a State Sales Coordinator and take your career to the next level This is a full-time, onsite role based at our Crestmead office, where you'll play a key part in supporting our Sales & Operations Manager and the broader leadership team five days a week.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our office by managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, handling correspondence, and preparing documentation. Your ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism will be essential as you work in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy and efficiency.

In this Role

• Deliver confidential administrative support to the Head of Sales, ensuring accuracy and discretion at all times
• Coordinate meetings, manage correspondence, and effectively prioritise workflow to keep operations running smoothly
• Organise travel and accommodation arrangements, and oversee event catering requirements
• Maintain and update office systems, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare invoices, monitor office supplies, and manage incoming and outgoing mail
• Record detailed meeting minutes, capturing clear actions and follow-ups for accountability
• Generate reports and compile data to support planning, analysis, and decision-making
• Assist with the coordination and delivery of seasonal events, including Expo and Easter

You're Likely a Match If  

• Experience providing high-level administrative and secretarial support to senior leaders
• Proven ability to coordinate office operations and manage workflow effectively
• Demonstrated experience handling confidential information with discretion and integrity
• Background in supporting leadership teams within fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Strong digital literacy with advanced computer proficiency and familiarity with office systems
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams
