Perth, Western Australia PERSOL Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

We are partnered with a well-known mining company for the recruitment of a new HSE Advisor.

This is an opportunity to continue your career with a respected player in the mining industry.

The key points:

  • Initial 3 months with possibly of extensions
  • 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth to Karratha
  • Hourly rate circa $ super per hour

Your role:

  • Ensure full compliance with company HSEQT policies and procedures
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Provide safety training to employees and management
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain safety records and reports
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement emergency response plans
  • Stay up to date with industry safety regulations and best practices

In terms of your background, you will have:

  • OHS related qualifications
  • Experience gained in the Mining, Maintenance, Civil or Construction
  • Ability to pass full medical including muscular fit and fitness assessment and pass Drug and Alcohol screening
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be clean shaven for fit test
