About the Role

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of a 24-hour, 5-day-a-week operation, overseeing three production teams.. You'll play a pivotal role in achieving key targets in utilisation, scrap reduction, and energy efficiency, while ensuring compliance with OHSE and Quality standards.

This is a high-profile leadership position within a small site management team, with joint responsibility for shaping site culture and driving strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a high-performance culture with world-class safety, cleanliness, and quality
  • Develop and execute annual business improvement plans across OHSE, Quality, People, Cost, and Delivery
  • Build a world-class manufacturing system with lean principles and continuous improvement
  • Drive improvements in plant utilisation, scrap rates, and energy consumption
  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement standard work practices and visual controls
  • Lead production planning aligned with customer demand and resource optimisation

About You

  • Production Management experience or similar
  • Trade and/or tertiary qualifications in a related field
  • Passion for continuous improvement with an inventive and open approach
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to improve individual and team performance
  • Articulate communicator who can inspire and engage teams
  • Excellent planning, organisational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, results-focused team environment
  • Hands-on, visible leader who leads by example and shows initiative
