Plus Community, a proud part of Housing Plus, has been providing community services to Regional NSW for nearly 20 years.

At Plus Community, we are dedicated to offering a comprehensive range of support services designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals and their families. We are looking for a part time Case Worker to join our Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) program based in Mudgee.

This position is responsible for delivering high quality case management activities to enable women and children to remain safe and free from domestic violence in their own home, and remain so over time. The program focuses on early intervention and prevention principles to prevent homelessness and enable women and children to experience long term stability in housing, income, employment, education, and social support networks.

The Case Worker will establish and maintain collaborative partnerships and networks with key stakeholders to ensure effective service referral pathways to facilitate women's ability to stay home safely after separation from domestic violence, and to raise awareness of alternative accommodation options for the excluded person.

To be successful, you will require strong experience in Community Services, ideally within the DFV Sector; proven ability to professionally and sensitively deliver client services to clients experiencing emotional distress; well-developed communication skills; and demonstrated experience in identifying key stakeholders and establishing effective relationships.

In return, we can offer you the chance to make a significant contribution to our organisation and community, as well as learning and development opportunities, health and well-being program, reward and recognition and salary packaging.

Please include in your application a cover letter outlining why the role interests you, and how you meet the above requirements.

This is a part time position on a Maximum Term Contract until 30th June 2026 working 3 days per week.

The Case Worker is classified as a Level 4.1 under the SCHADS Award, which equates to $88,327 gross per annum). This will increase on an annual basis in line with the pay points in the Award. As Housing Plus is a Not for Profit organisation, we have access to excellent salary sacrifice options to increase your take home pay

Being a woman is a genuine occupational qualification for SHLV work and this position has been formally exempted under s.31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 for this purpose.

Applicants identifying as Aboriginal are encouraged to apply.

We will start screening and interviewing any suitable candidates as they come through, so you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
