We are on the look-out for a HR People Operations to join our supportive, dedicated and fun loving P&C team . In Wattyl our People Operations team is the glue between the various business units and the various P&C teams across the organisation. They ensure information is accurate and processes flow freely. The people ops specialist is the first line of contact for most employee queries.

As the People Operations you will:

  • Handle employee enquiries relating to all areas of People & Culture
  • Maintain employee data records in all relevant systems, including HRIS System and payroll system.
  • Oversee process management and administration of all P&C life-cycle activities
  • Prepare and issue documentation to employees as required
  • Complete agreed reporting and analysis activity on P&C data
  • Document and work with peers across Hempel to continuously improve P&C processes and procedures
  • Participate in P&C projects, both for ANZ region specific projects and as part of overall global project teams as required

In order to be considered you will have:

  • A Tertiary qualification would be a nice to have but not essential
  • Previous experience HR/admin would be preferred
  • Strong learning orientation and can be graceful under pressure
  • A Collaborative team member with Great communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Great Time management and prioritising skills
  • Comfortable in working in an ambiguous environment and able to deal with multi-dimensional work across borders.
  • The ability to gain the confidence of others by acting with integrity, communicating transparently and following through on commitments. and being able to maintain highest degree confidentiality
  • Intermediate Excel and analytical skills

This role is apart of a Global Team and so flexibility for meetings outside of normal business hour will be required from time to time
