We are seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to join the Longyard Hotel team in Tamworth.

The Venue:

The Longyard Hotel in Tamworth is a renowned Australian venue known for its rich tradition and iconic status. Few pubs can claim to have songs dedicated to them. With open verandahs, an outdoor beer garden, a bottle shop, excellent cuisine, top-notch entertainment, and warm, welcoming service, it embodies the essence of a premium establishment. About the Role

The Longyard Hotel is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Gaming Manager to oversee all aspects of our gaming operations. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service, driving performance, and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day gaming operations including pokies, TAB, and KENO
  • Manage rosters, staffing levels and wage budgets
  • Ensure cash handling, reconciliation and reporting accuracy
  • Drive compliance with all gaming and regulatory requirements (RSA, RCG, AML/CTF)
  • Promote responsible gambling practices and maintain venue safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, presentable and welcoming gaming environment
  • Motivate, train and develop a high-performing gaming team
  • Collaborate with venue leadership to achieve business targets

About You

  • Proven experience in gaming operations within a venue environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of poker machine systems, CRTs, TAB & KENO
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and compliance-driven
  • Strong understanding of WHS and venue safety practices
  • Passion for delivering top-tier customer experiences
  • Must have RSA, RCG & ARCG
