About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to play a key part in coordinating the development, management and maintenance of Occupational Violence (OV) and Safety reporting to ensure accurate and timely information to relevant business units.

In this role will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to critical OV initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Provide effective violence prevention guidance to all NSW Ambulance staff and other stakeholders
  • Liaise with stakeholders to provide timely information updates and reports for OV incidents.
  • Positively influence the culture of violence prevention in order to build an organisational commitment to effective risk management.
  • Be part of a fast-paced environment where your work directly supports emergency healthcare services across NSW

About You

We're looking for someone who is resilient and passionate about keeping our staff safe. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Previous experience and an understanding of legislative structures and requirements.
  • Advanced ability to effectively use the computer packages PowerPoint, Word and Excel and other safety software.
  • Experience navigating complex organisational environments, with the ability to communicate effectively, provide strategic advice, and influence senior managers and key stakeholders to meet project needs.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a consistent track record of delivering high-quality outcomes within strict deadlines.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, able to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
