About the role

Are you passionate about transforming how organizations find and grow talent? Orica is seeking a strategic, data-driven leader to join us as Manager, Talent Sourcing & Intelligence. In this role, you'll drive the shift to skills-based, technology-enabled, and agile talent practices, delivering measurable business impact and building a workforce ready for the future.

Lead global sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and attract top talent across diverse geographies and functions, with a focus on technology-driven and skills-based talent engagement for the future of work. Lead the transformation and implementation of Orica's global talent acquisition operating model, driving the shift to skills-based, technology-enabled, and agile talent practices. This role will champion non-traditional hiring, process innovation, and the integration of AI and automation, ensuring Orica attracts, assesses, and hires the best talent for current and future business needs.

What You'll Deliver
  • Build a Skills-Driven Talent Pipeline: Use advanced talent intelligence, market analytics, and AI-powered sourcing tools to identify, engage, and attract high-quality, diverse candidates globally.
  • Accelerate Hiring Outcomes: Reduce time-to-fill and cost-per-hire by implementing innovative sourcing strategies and automation, while maintaining a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Design and execute inclusive sourcing campaigns, increasing representation and fostering a culture where all voices are valued.
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Coach and empower a global team to continuously improve, collaborate, and innovate in talent acquisition.
  • Drive Workforce Agility: Enable internal mobility and skills growth by mapping workforce capabilities to business needs and future opportunities.
  • Measure What Matters: Establish and track key metrics (e.g., quality of hire, diversity outcomes, digital adoption) to demonstrate impact and inform continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent intelligence, market analytics, and AI-powered sourcing.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver skills-based hiring campaigns that achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Experience leading technology and process innovation in recruitment (ATS, talent intelligence platforms, automation).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills, influencing senior leaders and HRBPs.
  • Track record of building and leading diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Commitment to DEI, continuous learning, and inclusive leadership.
Success in This Role Means

Success in this role over the next two years means leading Orica's transformation to a skills-based, technology-enabled talent acquisition model—where you'll champion the adoption of AI and digital tools to augment both the team's capabilities and the candidate experience. You'll drive innovative sourcing strategies, redesign roles to leverage automation and AI for greater productivity, and ensure the team is equipped to deliver faster, higher-quality, and more diverse hires.
