The Honest Collective is seeking dedicated and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide individualised support to NDIS participants across Melbourne's South-East. These roles focus on helping individuals build independence, emotional regulation, daily living skills, and community connection — all within a trauma-informed and person-centred framework.

About the RoleAs a Support Worker with The Honest Collective, you'll be working directly with NDIS participants to help achieve their individual goals, promote independence, and enhance daily living.
Key support may include:
- Daily routines, personal care and manual handling
- Light domestic support (cleaning, meal prep, organising)
- Transport to appointments, therapy, or social activities
- Supporting fitness, recreation, and social inclusion
- Providing structure and strategies for emotional regulation
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and meaningful community participation
- Following person-centred support plans and documentation protocols
You are grounded, consistent, and genuinely committed to providing respectful, empowering support.
Essential:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in disability support
- Experience with intellectual, developmental, or psychosocial disability
- Ability to follow structured plans and adapt to participant needs
- Confident working independently in home and community settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Orientation Module (completed)
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum two doses)
- Legal working rights in Australia
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Desirable:
- Experience with emotional regulation or behaviour support
- Background in mental health, education, or community work
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
– OR – At least 2 years of relevant experience in disability support
- Location: South-East Suburbs Melbourne (including surrounding areas)
- Shifts: We have a various support shift available
