About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Talent Acquisition Partner to lead the end-to-end recruitment and selection process across Council. This pivotal role ensures we attract, select and retain talented people who not only meet our business needs, but also thrive in our organisation.

You'll partner with hiring managers, provide expert recruitment advice, and implement innovative strategies to strengthen our workforce and deliver exceptional employee experiences from application through to onboarding.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across Council, from workforce planning through to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to design and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Actively source, engage, and build strong talent pools using a variety of platforms and networks.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • Lead continuous improvements to the candidate experience.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, agency engagement and recruitment-related reporting.
  • Support organisational effectiveness and diversity initiatives through inclusive hiring practices.
  • Provide mentoring to People & Culture team members and act as a trusted advisor across the organisation.

About the person

You are a proactive and collaborative recruitment professional with a passion for people and organisational success. You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes in a complex environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A track record of developing innovative, cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and best practice recruitment principles.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and Council's values.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $91,988.32 to $105, super.
