Location: Macquarie Park (Hybrid)
At VetPartners, we pride ourselves on delivering shared services support that drives success for our veterinary clinics, and as our Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you'll play a key role in helping us find, attract, and engage the amazing talent that makes it all possible.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead Support Functions, you'll support end-to-end recruitment for our Support Offices across Australia and New Zealand, providing expert recruitment support, strategic talent sourcing, and an outstanding candidate experience. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a supportive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and rewards.
This role is a 6-month contract and features a hybrid work arrangement, with four days in the office to promote collaboration, build strong connections, and enhance team engagement.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, offers, and onboarding support
- Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and provide expert advice on recruitment strategy and market trends
- Build and nurture candidate pipelines, ensuring ongoing engagement for both current and future opportunities
- Stay up to date on industry trends, continuously improving our processes and candidate experience
- Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team to deliver on strategic objectives
What we're looking for
You're a proactive talent acquisition professional who thrives in a dynamic, relationship-driven environment. You combine a sharp eye for talent with a genuine passion for creating a positive candidate experience. You're curious, adaptable, and bring a solution-focused mindset to every challenge.
You'll also have:
- 2–4 years' experience in talent acquisition
- Proven success recruiting in complex and fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A customer-first mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools
