Payroll Officer

Talent Connect are pleased to be working with a generalist, mid size law firm based in Liverpool as they seek an experienced Payroll officer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will assist with all aspects of the payroll function and support HR related duties.
Some of the day-to-day duties include:
- Perform end-to-end payroll management on behalf of the company's clients per local legislation
- Compliance with relevant regulations including STP, payroll tax, fringe benefits tax, awards, and agreements.
Record annual leave and sick leave - Responsible for drafting and posting job ads and screening applications
- Ad hoc administrative responsibilities
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years demonstrated related experience in a similar position.
- Experience with payroll systems
- Experience with Time and Attendance systems
- Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
- Maturity and confidence to deal with confidential and/or sensitive information.
