Talent Connect are pleased to be working with a generalist, mid size law firm based in Liverpool as they seek an experienced Payroll officer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will assist with all aspects of the payroll function and support HR related duties.

Some of the day-to-day duties include:

  • Perform end-to-end payroll management on behalf of the company's clients per local legislation
  • Compliance with relevant regulations including STP, payroll tax, fringe benefits tax, awards, and agreements.

    Record annual leave and sick leave
  • Responsible for drafting and posting job ads and screening applications
  • Ad hoc administrative responsibilities

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated related experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with payroll systems
  • Experience with Time and Attendance systems
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
  • Maturity and confidence to deal with confidential and/or sensitive information.
