Neon Cosmetics is an Australian-owned manufacture of colour cosmetics in Bayswater, Melbourne. A great opportunity exists for experienced Packers / Process Workers to join our fast paced team. Previous experience within the personal care / cosmetic industry is highly regarded.

About your new role

This position is a Process Worker performing various duties on our filling lines. In this role you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Operate filling and packing equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & other relevant documentation
  • Filling and labeling products
  • Packing Semi-Finished Product into Finished Good Formats
  • Perform cleaning & housekeeping practices to GMP standards in all work areas
  • Working on a fast-paced production line
  • Follow OH&S procedures at all times
  • Work cooperatively within a team towards operational targets
  • Participate in Continuous Improvements activities

What you will need to be successful

  • Previous line packing experience in a similar industry such as Food or Personal care / Cosmetics
  • Minimum of 3-6 months line packing experience in Food or Personal care/Cosmetics industry required
  • Proven machine operating experience
  • Demonstrated experience operating filling equipment is essential
  • GMP and cosmetic hygiene knowledge
  • Working knowledge of GMP and cosmetic hygiene standards is required
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Process-driven
  • Positive attitude and works part of a team
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Be physically fit and have the ability to undertake manual handling duties
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
