Workfast is looking for Dump Truck Operators operators to support an ongoing surface project in the Bowen Basin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate haul trucks in accordance with operational and production requirements
  • Transport and dump materials such as overburden, ore, or waste to designated locations, including DREA emplacement areas
  • Ensure haul roads are used safely by maintaining awareness of road conditions and adhering to dust suppression and traffic management protocols
  • Conduct thorough pre-start inspections, report defects promptly, and maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle
  • Strictly follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, spotters, and co-workers to support safe and efficient operations across rotating shifts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in mining or civil earthworks
  • Proficiency in operating haul truck, moxys and watercarts
  • Valid Coal Board Medical (CBM)
  • Standard 11 (S11)
  • Relevant RII competencies
  • Strong focus on safety, efficiency, and team collaboration
