The Role: 

The Customer Service and Logistics Co-ordinator role involves providing exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth logistical operations. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges this could be the role for you. 

As a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our operations, managing the coordination of deliveries, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring the smooth flow of material from origin to destination. You will serve as one of the primary points of contact for our customers, providing timely updates, addressing concerns, and offering solutions to any logistical challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the scheduling and routing of deliveries to optimise efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service both over the phone and over the counter, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with suppliers, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.

About you:

  • Proven experience in customer service and/or logistics coordination within the transport industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to organise workload in a busy environment while coordinating multiple timelines and priorities consistently.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
